What this is

Sivoraek is a small editorial index. It sorts eleven hotels into four categories and describes each in a few paragraphs. That is the whole job.

The layout borrows from a hotel lift. Each category is a floor, and each hotel on it has a room number. Room 302, for example, is the second entry on the third floor. The numbers are only a way to find things. They do not rank anything.

How entries are chosen

A hotel makes the list when its category is the honest reason to stay there. An art hotel needs a real programme behind the art. A capsule hotel needs to work as a capsule hotel. The same test applies to the other floors.

Some floors are short on purpose. The ice floor holds a single hotel, the original, and that is enough for now.

What we do not do

We take no bookings, quote no prices and publish no scores. No hotel paid to appear. Facts change, so treat our pages as a starting point and check details directly with the hotel before you travel.

If a hotel on this site has closed, changed its name or changed in a way that matters, please tell us through the contact page.
